Fishing at Bear Lake

Attractions

Fishing enthusiasts will find Bear Lake a haven for catching trophy-sized fish, including the unique Bonneville Cisco, lake trout, and cutthroat trout.

Fishing Tips:

  • The Bear Lake Marina is a great starting point for fishing trips.
  • Visit in January for the annual Cisco Disco, a festival celebrating the Bonneville Cisco.

It was great that there's so much to do at the house, we realized on the last day that we didn't even get to... read more the human hungry hippo, but that's because it was such perfect weather we ended up going to the beach in October (we were surprised it was warm enough!). We'd love to try that next time. The marble run is brilliant and kept so many kids of all ages entertained for hours! The sport court was great too & the Littles played make believe for hours in the castle room and on the slide. There were plenty of towels and bedding/blankets everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. The kitchen was so well-stocked it made meal prep and serving great! The teenagers loved the hammocks & outdoor couches for lounging. We had 8 different families go in on this and we all had a blast & were comfortable in the home!

The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and cookware. There are plenty of sheets, blankets, and sleeping mats in addition to the beds. Kids and adults alike had a great time with all the sports equipment and the slide! Hasee is a great host and very responsive. We would come back again!

      This place is absolutely perfect for a group with lots of kids. Ideal for a big family reunion. It was especially great in the winter when we spent most of... read more our time there. So much for the kids of all ages to do. They thought of all the details. We will for sure be staying here again. The ONLY downside is that there isn’t quick easy access to lake but that’s pretty typical for that side of bearlake so it wasn’t a surprise (plus, we weren’t swimming or spending any time at the lake)

Large place... read more to eat was so nice that we could all sit together. Hot tub was hot and very comfortable. Doesn’t have large lawn area but we were fine running a little down the hill to fetch the 🏀 balls. Fire pit was fun as well. We had perfect wether. AC worked great and kept us very comfortable and so many blankets. Didn’t have ceiling fans but had plenty of mobile fans to use.

      We had a family reunion and loved that every couple had their own bedroom. The kids loved the pirate themed bunk beds and playroom. The slide was a big hit... read more too. It was rainy while we were there so we were grateful for the awesome gym area to play sports and all the tables in the kitchen for games. The view of the lake was beautiful and we went on lots of walks. I was impressed by the attention to detail like all the hair dryers, yard games, every kitchen, utensil or dish we could need, including some baby spoons. There were high chairs, a pack and play, tons of board games, a record player with old records to listen to, dress up clothes and toys for the kids, sports equipment, etc. Overall it was a great stay and we plan to come back!
